Overview
The Essex Cement Terminal was the Construction of 4 cement storage silos each was 62’ in diameter and 193’ tall. The Silos total capacity is 60,000 Tons of cement. The Pile supported Concrete Foundation was constructed using 270 tons of reinforcing steel and 1950 CY of Concrete. The wall of the silos were constructed using vertical slipform construction. The placement was complete in 11 days working 24 hours per day. The walls were constructed of 860 tons of reinforcing and over 10,000 CY of Concrete
