Overview
Schwertner completed all of the Civil Work for the 1100 MW Combined Cycle Plant. The Plant was complete in 18 months. This Project included all sitework, underground fire protection, mechanical and electrical. The Foundations were constructed with 1350 tons of reinforcing and 17,000 CY of concrete. Highlighted by the Steam Turbine Pedastal (pictured), which was a 1,000 CY (8’ Thick) pedestal formed on columns that were 19’ tall.
