Overview
Schwertner is a preferred contractor in Walmart's General Contractor Resource Optimization (GRO) Program.
Schwertner has been assigned a three-state region and completes remodel projects in PA, NJ, and DE.
The scope of work varies from store to store but typically includes the remodeling of the sales floor, deli/bakery departments, restrooms, pharmacy, and vision centers. We also upgrade all employee spaces, including break rooms, training rooms, and offices.
Schwertner built their first ground up Walmart on Aramingo Avenue (2011). From start of foundations to roof complete (weather tight) was just under 11 weeks. Project was completed 6 weeks ahead of schedule. Walmart’s PM stated he had never seen a first time Walmart General Contractor complete a ground up store ahead of schedule, within budget, and meeting all Walmart’s high quality control requirements. Schwertner’s attention to detail is 2nd to none.
